Abstract
Onoff line broadcasting and performances are developing as a trend, and the need for broadcast performances in the form of high-definition, large-capacity on-tact performances is being studied. This research proposes a real-time interactive broadcasting system that allows multiple participants' images to be freely displayed on an IP video wall-based display. Participants can watch mobile broadcasting interactively in real-time. The display part utilized the CDAS (Computer Distributed Arrangement System) type IP video wall technology. The operation control part was controlled using API between the IP video wall and the mobile participant system. The function that constituted the scenario was additionally interlocked. The existing self-conference video conference solution was upgraded as the mobile participant system to suit mobile participants. An HD-level video transmission test was conducted on 50 participants to verify the proposed approach. The result shows that a latency of 50 people is possible within 1 second on IOS and Android OS mobile devices, and video reception of FHD or higher is more than 2 seconds, recognizing the need for additional research.
