Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the health behavior of college students, focusing on the Anderson behavior model, and to identify the differences according to gender. To this end, an online survey was conducted from November 2020 to April 2021 targeting university students from regions C and B in Korea, and the data of 261 respondents who responded were used for analysis. As a result of the analysis, First, it was confirmed that economic level and family function had a positive (+) effect on health behavior, and depression had a negative (-) effect on health behavior in the entire group of subjects. Second, as a result of confirming the gender difference, it was analyzed that economic level and family function positively (+) affect health behavior in the male college student group. Third, in the female college student group, family function and disease severity cognition level had a positive (+) significant effect on health behavior, confirming the difference in results according to gender. Through the results of this study, we intend to suggest practical and policy measures for improving the health behavior level of college students.
